There was a time when sequins, stadium lights, batons, and game days felt like the center of my world. I still treasure those memories—but somewhere along the way, I learned that the best part of the glory days wasn’t the glory at all.
It was learning Who the glory belongs to.

Sequins & Surrender is where I celebrate the things I love without confusing the gifts with the Giver. It’s a place for stories from the twirling world, lessons learned beyond the spotlight, a little sparkle, and a whole lot of Jesus.
I believe we can love our sequins without worshiping them. We can treasure the glory days while giving all the glory to God.
And when the spotlight fades, His glory doesn’t.
